ASSABIL is now receiving manuscripts for the annual Boghossian Prize contest awarding emerging authors in Lebanon. The call for submissions of short novel manuscripts for the 2020 session of the Boghossian Foundation will remain open until the end of August.

Those wishing to submit manuscripts, please e-mail your submission to prize2020@assabil.com by the end of August.

The winning novel will be published following the competition by the Dar Al-Adab, the Literature House.

Terms of submission

• The manuscript must be written in Arabic and not previously published.
• It must be directed for young people between the ages of 13 to 16 years old.
• The short novel must be between 7,000 and 14,000 words.
• The author must be based in Lebanon, and will not be able to submit more than one manuscript.
